Far East Victoria Landcare Inc.
Far East Victoria Landcare is a network of 7 Landcare groups located between Nowa Nowa and the border. These groups have the support of a Landcare facilitator Penny Gray and Project officer Stuart Clarke who are employed by the Network and are based in the DSE/DPI Office in Orbost.

Betterbeef in the Far East
A group of farmers from Far East Gippsland are in the process of commiting to a pilot Better Beef project. The BetterBeef Network is a framework that will deliver programs that aim to increase the sustainable profitability of Victorian beef enterprises.
A range of activities will be delivered within the BetterBeef Network. These include awareness field days, courses that increase skills and knowledge, phone seminars and BetterBeef groups. Future potential activities include annual conferences, electronic extension, coaching and new accredited training programs. Meat and Livestock Australia's (MLA's) More Beef from Pastures program will be delivered in collaboration with the BetterBeef Network in Victoria
