Welcome to Landcare in East Gippsland - Landcare in East Gippsland is made up of three networks, East Gippsland Landcare Network, Far East Victoria Landcare and Snowy River Interstate Landcare Committee. The area covered by the Landcare groups in East Gippsland equates to 314,434 hectares, encompassing 83.4% of the region's freehold land.

To mark the beginning of Landcare Week the Minister for Environment and Climate Change Ryan Smith has released the Victorian Landcare Program Strategic Plan, which will guide the Victorian Government's key program of support to strengthen Landcare, i.e. the Victorian Landcare Program.
